Weasel Words
"Some people say that weasel words are great!" The word "some" suggests that there is an unset number of people that are in agreement that weasel words are indeed great. This words adds a sort of uncertainty which is why they are called weasel words.
Emotional Laden Language
"Climate in Crisis" represents emotionally-laden language. the "Crisis" term implies the emotion that is embedded in language. By using crisis, the reader already assumes that we are in fact in a time of trouble when it may not be so. Grammar
The difference between passive voice and active voice allows for a misinterpretation of the severity of a situation within the language. The latter is one example of the use of grammar as a manipulator of the perception of certain language excerpts.
