Principal's Message

This is it! The end of the school year and the final newsletter. First off let me congratulate the Class of 2023 and good luck tomorrow! Everyone, enjoy your summer and we'll see some of you back next school year. If your student plans to return to VLA next school year (7th-12th) please reach out to April Anda (april_anda@plsd.us) to set up an in person meeting here at the District Office for sometime in June, if you haven't already.

Reminders:

All current 4th graders, 8th graders and seniors need to return their Chromebook to the District Office by the end of May. Contact April Anda at 614-920-6140 if you have questions.

Last day for online is May 19th and last for in person is May 24th.

May 1 Graduation Tickets available

*8 tickets per graduating senior. No additional tickets will be available.

End of school year information

Senior Google Accounts

Senior high school students may want to save the files, projects, and portfolio items they have created during their time here at Pickerington Schools. Senior accounts will be deleted within the next 6 months. If a graduating senior wants to keep their files, they need to migrate them to a personal Gmail account. Google has an online tool that facilitates this process: Google Takeout.

Summer Chromebook Repairs

If your student has a Chromebook that is in need of repair over the summer, Pickerington Schools Technology department will be holding several dates this summer on which the Chromebook can be dropped off for repair. If you decide to drop the device off for repair, please be aware that your student will not be given a loaner device to use for the remainder of the summer and that the repaired device will not be returned until the beginning of the school year.

Software

Students can access Pickerington Schools technology programs through July 31st. Students can access these programs through ClassLink (launchpad.classlink.com/pickerington) on any modern browser.

All students can access Pickerington Schools' programs from a personal device. To do so, please read ClassLink Login Information for Home Access.

Hotspots

All hotspots need to be returned to the District Office by May 31st. If your child needs access to a hotspot over the summer, please contact April Anda (april_anda@plsd.us) to make arrangements to keep the hotspot active.

Graduation Tickets are Available Starting May 1

Graduation tickets will be available starting at 7 a.m. Monday, May 1. Each graduate will receive up to 8 tickets to share with their families who wish to attend the event. Please click here to access the PHSC Box Office ticket site. Your student's ID# (lunch code) is the passcode to access the tickets. Please be careful to follow the instructions on the site as the student ID# can ONLY be used once.

PHSC's graduation ceremony is Noon, May 20, at World Harvest Church located on Gender Rd. Look for more details about the ceremony to be sent home as we get closer to the date.
