Happy New Year!
Dear Prairie View Families,
Let me begin by wishing you all a Happy & Healthy New Year. During winter break, I hope you had the chance to catch up with friends and family and enjoy some rest and relaxation. I certainly spent some time reflecting on our accomplishments of 2022 and thinking about the work and opportunities that lie ahead in 2023.
The start of a new calendar year and the start of the 3rd quarter (beginning Monday, January 23rd) are both good times to remind ourselves and our students of expectations for learning and personal responsibility. We appreciate your support in helping us provide a school that adheres to our core values, which include treating all people with dignity and respect so all Eagles can flourish in a safe environment.
We are excited for all Eagles to soar to new heights in 2023!
Sincerely,
Maura R. Baskovich

MAP Testing
On Monday, January 23rd & Tuesday, January 24th, all students will take their winter MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) in Reading and Math tests to measure individualized growth for your student. Testing will be conducted from 8:45 am until 10:54 am on those days. Lunch periods will remain the same for all grades, but some periods will be shifted so that all classes get the same amount of time for each class over the two days
Please encourage your student to get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. Also, please ensure that your student arrives at school on time on those days. If a student is absent, they will be tested later in the week.
