What Makes You Proud of America
Gold Key Award
Mardi Gras Float Winner
Our French 2 students celebrated Mardi Gras last Tuesday with a float-making contest. Each student chose a New Orleans krewe, which is a social organization that puts on parades, dances, and other events for Mardi Gras each year. They researched their chosen krewe and came up with a float design that represented its history and purpose. Staff judged the floats on creativity, design, and krewe representation.
