Freeport in the Bahamas

Why go to Freeport?
History and Culture: Write a brief history and culture about your destination.
"On Grand Bahama Island, the sea has always provided. The earliest settlers, the Siboney Indians, were a people who lived off conch and fishing, and the shells and jewelry they left behind form the majority of what we know about them. Their remains suggest that they were here as early as 7,000 years ago, but disappeared."
"In the less developed outer islands, handicrafts include basketry made from palm fronds. This material, commonly called "straw", is plaited into hats and bags that are popular tourist items. Another use is for so-called "Voodoo dolls," even though such dolls are the result of the American imagination and not based on historic fact."
These stand out to me because they use descriptive words to tell you about the history and culture of this beautiful place. We need to be able to know about this going there so I know the back round of these people. They have a cool back round and awesome history. You can know what some of the symbols are and knick-knacks are for. History and culture are a big part of projects.

Lodging and Hotel: Where will you be staying?
Hotel Name: Island Seas Resort

What does your hotel offer? What does your room look like?
"A queen bed in first bedroom and 1 queen bed in second bedroom. Sofa bed in living/dining room. Furnished balcony or ground-floor patio with view of pool or partial ocean view. Living/dining room with armchair, coffee table, and four-chair dining set. 2 TVs. DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen with four-burner range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and two-stool breakfast bar. Bathroom with shower/tub. Ceiling fans. Air conditioning. In-room safe (surcharge)." Smoking permitted." That is all the items in my hotel. I copied this because it tells the exact objects in the room. They have all of the stuff that you would need to have. You might be wondering why I am staying at a lower end hotel. Well, if you are out of the hotel as much as I am then you don't really need a high end hotel.

Problems and Solutions: While traveling a problem may occur, think about those problems and how you would solve them.
Key Gets Lost : I Will Buy A New One With Emergency Money
Missed Plane : I Will Ask For A Flight Change
Lost Passport :I Will Go To Emeassy
Lost Luggage : I Go To The Airline That I Was Flying On
These are only some of the problems that could happen while traveling. Out of all of the problems that could happen I would rather have a lost key. That would only be a minor bump in the road. There is a lot that could go wrong. I just hope that this does not happen to me.

Reviews on the Hotel
This is one of the many reviews they have.
"We loved it. Off season and quiet. Friendly people."
This is a short review but says a lot of things about this place. After looking at these reviews I see I have picked one of the friendly hotels. These reviews cleared up a lot about the staff. They seem really nice.
