Message from Mr. Hall
Seniors! This is your last semester at Royal High School, so let's make it our best. I have only had the opportunity to get to know you for just one semester, but, honestly, I am just so proud of the students that you are. Our seniors have shown that they are hard working and embrace life as it comes at them. Your time here at Royal has been marred with pandemics, no MPR, construction zones, and zooms but you have not let that stand in your way as any sort of major obstacles. You have shown that you are resilient and will take on any challenge as it comes your way.
As you finish your final semester at Royal, please embrace as much of the activities as you can. Go to prom, grad night, senior sunset, anything you can make...be there and be present. At the end of this year, many of you will go separate ways and start new journeys, so that leaves this time to enjoy being a Highlander and more importantly, your friends.
Good luck class of '23! I am so looking forward to this last semester for you, it promises to be a fun one!

Tickets

Tickets will be distributed May 31. Tickets guarantee admission to the ceremony, but not necessarily a seat.
Graduation will be live streamed. We encourage those who cannot be in the sun and heat for long periods of time (young children and the elderly) to watch the live stream.
The ceremony lasts about 2 hours and temperatures can be hot that time of year. We strongly discourage families bringing infants and young children. Strollers will not be allowed. If you do bring infants and young children, they also require a ticket for admission.
Seniors will receive six (6) complimentary tickets and may purchase two (2) additional tickets while supplies last. Seniors may purchase those two (2) additional tickets after the graduation rehearsal only. CASH ONLY = $10 per ticket. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will not be allowed to save seats. Arrive early for the best seating.
Important Commencement Reminders

Seniors may not alter/decorate cap or gown.
Balloons and umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium during the ceremony because they have a tendency to block the vision of other guests. All umbrellas brought into the stadium must be lowered before the start of the ceremony.
Handicapped parking and seating is available, but limited. Arrive early for best parking and seating.
Stadium opens at 4:00 pm for families. Guest may begin lining up at 3pm.
