Veterans Day Picture Request
Titus Families- Are your family’s veterans on the Titus Wall of Honor?
In November, the windows of the rotunda will be filled with pictures of United States military personnel. If you have a family member who served or is currently serving in any branch of the United States military, please scan and email a picture of them (picture size 4x6 or smaller) along with the information in the below attachment. Pictures need to be emailed to Mrs. Schorpp hniemeyerschorpp@cbsd.org marked Wall of Honor by Friday, October 22nd. Thank you!
Please note that if you sent in a picture in a previous year, you do not need to resend it. We keep them from year to year; however, if the child who initially brought in the photo has moved on to middle school, we may not have a copy of the picture. If you need to update any information, such as additional children now attending Titus, or to check if we have the picture, please email Mrs. Schorpp at hniemeyerschorpp@cbsd.org Thank you!!
Note: If your picture is turned in after the deadline, we cannot guarantee that it will make this year’s Wall of Honor or Photo Story slide show.
Arrival and Dismissal
The safety of our children is our top priority and we are working with the district and Warrington Police Department to make sure everyone is safe while driving, walking, or riding their bikes to school. We are working on having supervision at both crosswalks on Barness to keep all bike riders and walkers safe to and from school. If your child is a walker or bike rider, please reinforce that they should be using the sidewalks to stay safe. We understand that construction is still occurring on Barness by the North Wales Water Authority and we are working to ensure that construction would not occur during drop off and pick up times.
Thank you for all of your patience, support, and cooperation.
Paws for Pride
Congratulations to last week’s Paws for PRIDE winners: T. Flood (Mrs. Gillan), E. Willard (Mrs. Maiese), C. Fallon (Mrs. Scherr), M. Jones (Mrs. Yorczyk), A. Curorato (Mrs. Williamson), C. Croft (Mrs. Duffy), B. Gordon (Mr. Behling), Mrs. Thomas, and Mrs. Williamson's Class.
Keep up the great work, tigers and thank you for demonstrating our traits (Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination, and Empathy)!

Red Ribbon Week
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
It’s October and that means pumpkins are everywhere! Let’s take this fun, festive gourd and bring it into the library to show our love of books! Just pick a book, purchase a small-sized pumpkin (that you can easily carry by yourself), and decorate it like your favorite book character. You can decorate it, paint it, glue things to it, and add a lot of fun details. Do not carve the pumpkin. The pumpkins will be on display in the library for two weeks, and we don’t want them to rot or attract pests.
See information letter below for examples and the form to turn in with your pumpkin.

Race for Education
We have officially wrapped up this year's Race for Education! A great big THANK YOU to our parents and caregivers who donated and/or volunteered. Without you and the AMAZING students and staff at Titus, this year's event wouldn't have been a success. We are still crunching numbers and will post the results in next week's Tiger Times.
We deeply value input and feedback from our Titus parents, caregivers, and families. We ask that you please take a few minutes to complete a short survey regarding this year's Race for Education. Responses are due by Sunday, October 10th. Access the survey HERE. Thank you!
