Week 2 Update

Hello CCID Families,

We finished up our first full week of school and are excited with the progress we have observed with our students. We have our PLP conferences in the coming weeks. For those of you new to CCID, PLP stands for Personalized Learning Plan. Our students work with their teachers to create independent research projects based off their personal interests. Teachers work closely with students to flush out their ideas into a project that produces a tangible product at its conclusion. This is usually as a book or slideshow, but can take many different forms. Built into our school calendar are PLP days. These are student led conferences where your child will outline their PLP goal to you and the product they hope to produce at the end of their research. Tuesday, September 7th is PLP conference day where school is not in session for students. Below are links to signup for PLP conferences for your student. Some grade levels meet together and have one link, while other grade levels have a separate link for each teacher.
