The City of Florence has been designated a “Tree City USA” for the 35th consecutive year by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Earning this distinction was a City-wide effort by the Florence Street, Electricity, Parks & Recreation Departments, Florence Housing Authority, the Mayor and City Council, Florence Tree Commission, and Urban Forestry team.
