Jaguar Parent Week-At-A-Glance
Jardine Elementary - November 29th, 2021
Principal's Message- Mrs. Pomeroy
Jardine Families-
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break with your families! We have three full weeks of learning between now and Winter Break!
Our PTO has opened their Spirit Shop, and invite you to take a look! There are several items that would make great Holiday Gifts! Here is the link to the Jardine PTO Spirit Shop!!
We are also quickly approaching our production of Annie! The details on how to get tickets is listed below! Act fast, as ticket availability is limited due to safety protocols. We have added a show to help off-set the numbers, however, tickets will not be sold at the door!
Finally, student masks continue to be an issue and area of need. Scholars are expected to come to school with a mask, and we recommend sending an extra in their backpacks just in case! We are able to help out on a limited basis and when accidents occur, but we are not able to provide masks for every scholar every day. Please help us ensure that your scholar is prepared with a mask.
As always, please reach out with any questions you may have! We're here to help!
We are looking forward to another great week of learning!
Always Jardine Proud,
Mrs. Pomeroy, Principal

Masks
While we do have masks for those days when your scholar may forget , we do not have enough masks to provide one to every scholar every day. If this becomes a chronic concern, you may be asked to return home for a mask at drop off.
Thank you for ensuring the safety of everyone while we are at school! Wearing our masks and maintaining distancing inside the school building are the two best protocols we have to ensure we don't have close contacts here at school that could cause a quarantine of others!
Blocking the Driveways during Drop Off & Dismissal
Please be courteous of this, as well as of others who are trying to do the same!

New KDHE Recommendations for COVID Symptoms
Just as an FYI even though we are in remote learning, KDHE has changed the requirements for sending a scholar home due to COVID-19 symptoms. Previously, the school nursing staff sent scholars home if they were displaying two symptoms. This has now been updated and scholars will be sent home if they are displaying ONE symptom. Please see the link below for an updated Shawnee County flowchart related to scholars returning to school after being sent home with symptoms.
School COVID Feedback form
