What is Creative Commons?

Creative commons: Much More than Traditional Copyright.

Creative commons is a non profit orginization that provides licenses that are alterations of traditional copyright. These alterations limit or enable what others can do with your created work.

There are Seven Different Creative Commons Licenses:

As the spectrum above shows, the license range from very open to change and redistribution by people other than the creator to almost no openness. we will be going through the license from the most open to the least open.

CC Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND)

This license limits how others can use your work the most of the six licenses. It only lets people download your work and share them with others if they you give you attribution, and they can’t alter your work or use it work commercially.
