AP Env. Science AB: Week 12 Update
Fall 2020
This Week's Focus: Food Production and Toxicology
We will finish our study of Food Production and Pesticides and begin Toxicology and Human Health this week. Specifically, we will be focusing on GMOs, human health and the environment, environmental risks, and environmental toxins. More information about the content, the location of each handout, and helpful hints for each assignment can be found in the Module 10: Food Production and Pesticides Course Resources and Module 11: Toxicology and Human Health
Did you know that we only have 5 weeks of class left?
We have 4 weeks of learning left in our course. The 5th week will focus on reviewing for the final exam and taking the final exam.
Start thinking NOW about how you're going to review for the final exam! Test Corrections are an EXCELLENT way to review what you missed on past exams AND earn a few extra points on those tests.
If you know you struggled with certain concepts, start reviewing those concepts now. Read the content pages, watch the instructional videos in the course resource newsletters, and go back to past synchronous session recordings covering those topics and start brushing up on them. Do not hesitate to contact me with questions as you're studying. After all, that's what I'm here for!
Keep your notes and study materials once the course is over to help you review for the AP exam in May. This spring, I would start studying for the AP exam around Spring Break and continue until the AP exam. If you don't have an AP Exam review book, buy the newest one you can afford and start reading that this spring.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me:
