USDA Announces Children under 18 to Receive Free Meals from School

The school meal programs are supported by guidance and reimbursement from USDA. This week, the USDA announced that schools can feed all children (under 18) without cost to the household. Both breakfast and lunch are available during non-holiday weeks for all in-school students at no cost (probably through December, 2020). Free meals are available for non-enrolled children and 100% virtual students from each of our school sites for parent pick up during the hours of 3-6 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. Please note that each school site (except MTC and RA) has a designated pick-up location and this is/will be highlighted on the school home page. Please help us spread the word that all children in Rockingham County may now receive free meals from schools.
