Artwork Displays
Help make McKinley a more colorful place to learn. We need help displaying the pieces our students are creating in art. Come in when it’s convenient for you and hang art up in the hallways. No experience necessary! Please contact Jenny Leigh at leighje@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us if you can help. Thanks!
PTO Committee Help Needed!
We have an immediate vacancy for someone to chair the Dining Out fundraising events. This role involves contacting restaurants, making arrangements to hold events, and following up after the event. You would not be required to attend the actual event. This position could be handled by one person or a small committee. The PTO has ideas and contact information for restaurants that have been successful fundraisers in the past.
We are also in need of a new PTO Treasurer for the coming school year. If you are interested, please contact current treasurer Phil Janowski for more information.
If you are interested in learning more about these positions, please contact Kristi Knoedler, Chris Riley, or Molly Hannan for more information. Thanks!

SCHOOL BOARD VOTER’S GUIDE PUBLISHED
S.O.S. Wauwatosa has published a Voter’s Guide for the upcoming Wauwatosa School Board election. Four seats are up for election, and six candidates will be listed on the ballot. The election is city-wide and all voters can vote on all seats.
S.O.S. Wauwatosa composed the questionnaire with the intent of helping candidates share information about their background and qualifications, and share their positions on such important issues as attracting and retaining high-quality teachers and staff, managing facilities, and budget priorities. The guide is non-partisan and does not include candidate endorsements. To view the guide, click here.
MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, April 4. Polls are open 7 am – 8 pm. Several polling sites have changed in Wauwatosa recently, so we encourage you to visit this website or call the City Clerk’s office (414-479-8921) to confirm your voting location. You may also choose to participate in in-person absentee voting at City Hall, 7635 North Avenue, March 20 - 30, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
