## Test 1

IV- Parallel Circuit

DV- Christmas Lights

Hypothesis 1- If the Christmas Lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when 1 bulb burst the other bulbs will still light up.

## Observations 1

Observations 1- I noticed that all the bulbs shine bright and are all lit.

## Observation 1

I noticed that when you take a bulb out of the circuit 2 out of the still light up bright and still work.

## Test 2

IV- Series Circuit

DV- Christmas Light

Hypothesis 2- If the Christmas lights are arranged in a series circuit then when 1 bulbs burst the other bulbs won't light up.

## Observations 2

Observations 2- I noticed that all the bulbs lit up but they are dim instead of bright lights.

## Observations 2

Observations 2- I noticed that when you remove one bulb the rest of the bulbs won't light up at all.

## Conclusion

Conclusion- A parallel circuit is the best series to use for Christmas lights because if you take one bulb out the rest will be bright and still work. It is only the bulb that busted that won't work. The bulbs that are still lit are bright like they were before. In a series circuit if one stopped working they all stopped working, but that isn't the case with a parallel circuit they still work even without one bulb not working.
