Below is a list of some responsibilities expected of the coordinator. The majority of these are shared between the three coordinators, so don't get overwhelmed.
Volunteer Coordinator:
•Work alongside, assist and oversee student coordinator
positions
•Keep 10 office hours per week
•Organize and run volunteer trainings at the beginning of each
semester
•Maintain professional relationship and communication with
housing and dining supervisors
•Schedule and attend meetings with university personnel and
SWAP contacts
•Correspond in a timely manner with student volunteers
•Match student volunteers with ESL students
•Expand SWAP to provide services to additional university
employees and enable more students to volunteer
•Accommodate departmental, academic and student volunteer
needs
