From February 1 until the 14th (or the whole month!), leave a sticky note or heart on your child(ren)'s door(s) to tell them all the wonderful things you love about them. See example below and compliment starter ideas.

Dental Health Month

Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children's Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health.

Celebrating Black History

FREE ADMISSION TO THE NEGRO LEAGUES MUSEUM

The Kansas City Royals announced today that, in honor of Black History Month, Royals Charities will provide free admission to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum for the month of February.

Black History Month hosted by MCPL

This class is for babies not yet crawling. All parents are asked to bring a soft blanket or towel to lay your baby on as we will be utilizing the floor during this session. If you have a child that is younger than 10 weeks old, please bring a bed-size pillow to support your baby.

Kindergarten Countdown #1

Join certified parent educator Susan Conard on February 21st for an informative hour on the impact of social-emotional skills and academic achievement in school. We will learn important skills to practice for school readiness, discuss self-help skills to assist your child's independence, and explore games and ideas for practicing these skills at home. This is part one of a two series kindergarten readiness session. More information on session 2 coming soon!
