Parents as Teachers is a voluntary early childhood development program offering research-based curricula that help families raise children to be healthy, safe, learning and ready for school.

Dental Health Month

Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children's Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health.

The Kansas City Royals announced today that, in honor of Black History Month, Royals Charities will provide free admission to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum for the month of February.

This class is for babies not yet crawling. All parents are asked to bring a soft blanket or towel to lay your baby on as we will be utilizing the floor during this session. If you have a child that is younger than 10 weeks old, please bring a bed-size pillow to support your baby.

Join certified parent educator Susan Conard on February 21st for an informative hour on the impact of social-emotional skills and academic achievement in school. We will learn important skills to practice for school readiness, discuss self-help skills to assist your child's independence, and explore games and ideas for practicing these skills at home. This is part one of a two series kindergarten readiness session. More information on session 2 coming soon!
