From Mrs. Lewis...
- On Wednesday, March 27. randomly selected classes will complete the 2019 Youth Risk Behavior Survey during 2nd block. Mrs. Tippett will deliver packets the morning of the survey.
- Clubs have been cancelled for Tuesday, March 26. The next club day is scheduled for April 16.
- SIT Meeting Tomorrow - Concerns should have already been sent to SIT Members
- TESTING - All students must have their Chromebooks / chargers for Tuesday's test, We will strive for a faster start time on Tuesday.
- PARENT COMMUNICATION - ARE YOU COMMUNICATING for both good and not-so-good?

- USING LUNCH NUMBERS - Staff please know it is against Federal / State regulation to use a child's lunch number to secure food. Even if the child is not going to eat, a child can't be sent to get a meal that he does not intend to eat so that someone else can partake. Thanks for your help with this matter.

- SPORTS DUTY - Please know that it is vital that you arrive on Sports Duty on time.
- Spring Fever has hit - please decide as a team what incentives you will offer to get to Spring Break. Is there a special TLC, Egg Hunt, snackfest, hat days, etc. that students can earn?
- April 8/9 - Planning for the 4th Nine Weeks - Subs will be secured
- April 8 - 7/8 Parent Night Registration for 2019-2020

- Monday, March 25 - Makeup ELA

- Thursday, April 4 - Make ups
- Cell phones should be put away during testing. Usage will jeopardize a testing misadministration.
- All teachers are required to walk around while students are testing.
Opportunity
We have been given a wonderful opportunity to purchase curriculum resources from the literacy grant that brought the author to 6th graders recently.
These resources are called Lightbox books (non-fiction, informational). With each purchase, we get:
- one copy of the book for the library
- unlimited eBook copies to use in Spring Hill classrooms
- embedded, interactive links to supplement instruction (Google Maps, videos, slideshows, quizzes)
Celebrate!
- 8th Graders received a superior rating in Cumberland County this week. Great job, 8th grade band.
