October 16, 2015

Hello Norris Family,

What another great learning week! Our students are learning and growing daily while having fun! We have decided to spotlight a series we are calling "Mastering the Mind" adapted from a short motivational book written by Mentoring Minds. This series will provide a quick spotlight on how our mind and thoughts impact our behavior, emotions and success.

Topic 3: Expectation

"You have to expect things of yourselves before you can do them."

-Michael Jordan

High expectations are paramount to all that we undertake. We need to create conditions that are conducive to setting and reaching goals by visualizing a picture of our expectations that are bright and positive. This visualization establishes a framework for success. Expect the best of all around you, and give all that you do, nothing but the best.

Remember, "High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation."

-Jack Kinder

Have a good weekend,

Ashelyn and Michelle
