A NOTE FROM MRS. TRACZ & MRS. BROWN

Hello Edison Families! We hope you and your family are enjoying The Tale of Despereaux together! It has been fun to see photos of students enjoying the spirit days and activities posted in the Padlet found in the Edison One School, One Book Schoology Group. It’s not too late to join in the fun - more information is available below.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on Thursday, March 4th. While Fall Conferences are intended for all families, Spring Conferences are scheduled by request from families or teachers on an as-needed basis. The 3rd Quarter ends March 10th and report cards will be available on March 17th. We are planning for our 3rd-5th grade students to take the AIR tests in April/May. We will let you know when the testing dates and locations are finalized for both in-person and virtual learners.

Kindergarten registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now open. Please visit the main page of the district website and click on Student Registration to begin this process. You will then be contacted by Mrs. Somerville to aid you in the completion of registration.

We want to thank our PTO for thinking outside the box this year to find ways to reach our students and staff from a distance. The Valentine’s Day treats and Thomas Edison Birthday flashlight keychains were enjoyed by students, and your fundraising efforts are appreciated by all. We invite all families to join our meeting this Wednesday 3/3 (details below). We look forward to seeing you as we plan ahead for the 2021-2022 school year!

School Store:

Wow! What a great response we have received to our current fundraiser The School Store. The PTO has partnered with the School Store to help raise money for our Edison Eagles. The PTO received a percentage package when you online shop with select merchant partners on the School Store website. As of today, we have earned roughly $260 dollars but that is not all on their website. You can give a gift card to your child's teacher to be used at the Caring for Classrooms store. As of Friday, a total of

$6890.00 has been donated to our teachers. This is AMAZING! The fundraising ends at the end of the school year.

If you have not yet registered your student below is the link to the website. Go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?25699 to show our valued teachers your support and help your kiddos earn prizes.

Thank you,

Your PTO Board

Is your child experiencing some symptoms of being sick?

For students with symptoms, is a good idea if you can obtain a doctor's note explaining symptoms so that they are allowed at school. If your student has at least 2 symptoms at school, they will be sent home from the clinic. Students with symptoms, but also have a doctor note explaining the symptoms not to be Covid19, will be able to stay at school.
