ILEARN Testing
*April 22-May 17*
We will utilize Chromebooks to test the entire grade level at the same time.
Each teacher will have a red, yellow and red square during testing. A green square will be posted on your door window when the Chromebooks and testing is going well. A yellow square will be posted if there is an issue with 1-3 computers, and a red square will be posted if there is an issue with multiple computers. This will help Kelsie, Tina and IT to quickly see who needs help.
End of Year
Make sure you keep your student data up to date in the "Class of" documents and South's Data Dashboard. We will be utilizing the Class of 2028 document to create student placement for fourth grade.
You do not need to take down any Bulletin Boards that you plan to use in the fall, they may stay up over the summer.

The ILEARN Practice test icon is back on the Chromebooks. The original URL had changed so it had to be updated. The students will see this icon after they log in and look at the bottom bar on the screen. It is the icon with the blue Indiana and torch.
This is not to be confused with the AIRSecureTest browser found on the login screen. To access and take the real test, you will use the AIRSecureTest browser found under "Apps" before a student logs into the Chromebook. A photo of where to find the AIRSecureTest browser:
Life Hacks
- Have a migraine? Put your hands in ice water and flex several times. Headache gone!
- Trying to lose some weight? Eat more spicy food! Spicy foods trick your taste buds into being more satisfied with smaller amounts. They have also proven to temporarily increase your metabolism by about 8%.
- To tell if a hard-boiled egg is fully cooked, just spin it. If the egg wobbles then it is still raw. If it spins it is fully cooked.
