FRESHMAN FOOTBALL

8TH GRADE FOOTBALL
Our boys showed up and showed out playing a tough physical brand of football and winning 28-14.
Jeremy Martinez started off the scoring, then PJ Bryant scored on a long touchdown pass before the half. Braylon Harris closed the game out with 2 touchdown runs in the 4th quarter to seal the game away. Shout out to the o-line for blocking hard all game.
The defense played hard against a vicious running attack. Tyler Cramer, Gery Sanchez, Nathan Mcnabb, Channing Humphrey, Paul Watkins, Asa Young, and Jeremy Martinez were stuffing the run game with great tackles all game long.
The coaches are proud of your accomplishments this season and we look forward to seeing how much better you’ll be next year! Great job Broncos

Congratulations to Team 1 for finishing their regular season yesterday with a team win. Team 1 finished the season with a 8-1 record, a tournament championship as well as finishing as HEB District Champions! Team 1 will host a playoff game here at BJH this Friday at 6:15pm
7TH GRADE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The 7th grade volleyball team finished up their regular season Wednesday night with some big wins against Richland Middle School.
In Team 2's win, the girls showed some outstanding defense and service pressure, only allowing Richland to get 6 points total. Brooke McLain started us off strong from the service line, followed by a big streak by Kynzie Case, Gennesis Morales, Ava Diviney, and Juliana Jayasuriya. Morales, Diviney, Savannah Shaw and Ayanna Weang also put in some work on the net with great sets by McLain and Aliya Johnson for some big front row swings.
Game 2 was a closer set but the girl's confidence never shook and we came out on top, 25 - 16. McLain started us off strong again from the service line, followed by several Aces from Alexis Tabor, Aishia Tsing, and Morgan Stralow. Again, our defense is what stood out the most with Eva Moore & Tabor getting some great plays at the net, backed up by solid passing by Brooklyn Carlson and Jayasuriya.
Team 2 finished 6 - 3 overall, 2nd in the Team 2 Tournament, and HEB Champs! GREAT job ladies, y'all made us all proud!
