HOW TO DEAL WITH BULLYING
Here are some strategies to deal with bullying:
STAY CALM, AND IN CONTROL
You need to relax, and tell yourself that this will end soon. Do not let yourself stress about what is going to happen to you the next day at school. Overthinking things can lead you to make the wrong decisions.
TELL THE BULLY TO STOP
Sometimes talking to the bully about how you feel can help. They might not realize what they are doing, until you tell them. Tell the bully that you don't like what he/she is doing. This way you will know if they are bullying you intentionally, or not.
BE ASSERTIVE
The last thing you want is to create a fight with the bully, so it is important to be assertive while talking to the bully. You need to talk clearly, and firmly; however, make sure to not show emotions like anger,fear, or attitude. show confidence, and positive body language to show the bully how strong you are, and unaffected by their acts.
TALK TO SOMEONE
If things get out of hand, and the bullying still continues, then you need to talk to someone you trust. This person can be your friend, teacher, or even a close family member. Ask the person for help, and get them to speak with the bully, and resolve the issues between you and the bully.
