Great Story
I received a call last week from a lady who lives in Flint, MI. She stated she was in the Wendy’s in Swartz Creek the previous evening and ran into the Morrice Cross Country Team. She called to tell me that the students were the most polite bunch of students she had seen. She said they allowed others to go before them and all of their stories and language were appropriate for students. She felt it was important to take the time to call and share this information. This is a testament to our students, staff, parents, and community. If you see these students let them know how proud we are of how they represented the Morrice district.

College Week
College Fair
Capital
On Wednesday October 24th Mr. Marks, Mr. Lakin and Mrs. Brown took some of our 10-12th graders on a field trip to the Michigan State Capitol. Students were treated to a personally guided tour by two State Representatives: Ben Frederick (85th District) and Tom Barrett (71st District). Students were then treated to a Q&A session with the Reps. After that, students were able to meet Shiawassee County Sheriff Brian BeGole and ask him questions as well as they learned the responsibilities of his office.
