Types of Clouds
There are many types of clouds. A few are cumulus, stratus and cirrus. Cumulus clouds are puffy and bring fair weather. Stratus are low smooth sheets or layers. And cirrus are thin wispy clouds.
High clouds are above 6 kilometers. Middle clouds are about between 2 and 6 kilometers. Low clouds are usually below 2 kilometers. And clouds of vertical development grow upward from low bases to 15 kilometers
Fog and Dew
Fog is a cloud on the ground. Dew usually originates from terrestrial radiation.
