UPPER SCHOOL SPANISH PROJECT
Spanish students in Middle and High School are assigned a fun project in preparation for next week's Dia de Los Muertos celebration, which will be held in class on Tuesday, October 31st.
Students will choose to complete ONE of three projects:
1) Bring in "ofrendas" (which we will learn about in class next week) for a loved one who has passed
2) Bring in a researched Mexican dish
3) research your own cultural heritage regarding the particular ways in which your ancestors observed death.
There are requirements for each project, so please remind your student that the assignment is posted on Google Classroom. The afternoon will be filled with flowers, food, sharing, and music!
In 6th grade Spanish, students will begin their Pizza Box Projects, which are 3D map projects of a Spanish-speaking country. If you have pizza at home this week, send in the cleaned pizza box for your student.
Thank you!
