Trimble Tech celebrated their seniors on Tuesday at their last home game on Tuesday against Poly. Thank you: Gisela Martinez, Nayeli Alcala, Andrea Vazquez, and Ranyah Gardner-Burell for all your hard work and dedication to the Trimble Tech Volleyball Program.
FWISD Cross Country
Arlington Heights HS
The regional cross-country meet was held on Tuesday in Lubbock.
The varsity girls improved their place from last year! Libby Helmer, Mattie Collins, Annabelle Evans and Trinity Carlton all had a personal best race.
The big news is the varsity boys qualified for state!! The top four teams move on to state and Heights placed 3rd as a team. The team was led by Chase Gunn who placed 5th. Hector Barajas, jet Richard, Esteban Romero, Nicky Morales, Justin Morales and Sam Alexander. They will compete for state titles on Nov. 5th in round rock!

Even though it was raining ☔️ cats and dogs. It was still a great day for Coach Donart,Simon and The Bobcat XC Teams . All ran well and gave their best effort.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis HS
This morning our Varsity XC teams competed at the Regional 2 meet and did an awesome job!!! Most of our girls ran new PRs and our boys placed 8th out of 22 teams. We have two state qualifiers!!!!! Ángel Sánchez is this year's regional champ!! And Edgar Rodriguez placed 29th! They will both represent DHJ at the state meet next Friday in Round Rock.
Coach Reopelle and I are very proud of them! Thank you, Coach Cruz and Coach Johnson, for coming out to support our runners!

North Side HS
Varsity Girls competed at Regionals in Lubbock this Tuesday. Two new girls for the very first time and both new girls got a new PR!

South Hills HS
This week Jason and Pamela competed in the Region 1 Cross Country Meet. Jason finished 39th climbing his way closer to the front from 80 something place.
Pamela finished first out of all the FWISD girls and the Everman kid that finished ahead of her at the District Meet.
Team goal was to beat those that beat us at the district meet.

Great Season Western Hills XC 2022
Western Hills Cross Country had a great season this year and I wanted to thank my runners Varsity Boys: Emmanuel Nshimiyimana, Oscar Guerra, Wilonja Ebula,Yeshua Mihundo, Hakizimana Changwe, Benjamin Princeand Iggy Singleton. JV Boys: Roman Msenga, Alexis Yokobo and Mike Mihundo.
Varsity Girls: Kimberly Medellin, Leslie Gutierrez, Candace Ndelengwe and Rachel Ndekelengwe. JV Girls: Mikayla Pressley and Gaby Cuevas. Thank you for all the early morning hard work. I look forward to watching y'all compete at the other three and four sports y'all compete in throughout the year. Your efforts are "Western Hills"!

FWISD Tennis
40 tennis players from four FWISD schools (BMHS, NS, ODW and SH) participated in a tennis clinic put on by the WTA in association with the WTA Finals next week. The kids had a blast. Afterwards, some of the players had the opportunity to go inside the indoor courts at TCU and watch #4 World Rank tennis player Coco Gauff practice.
In addition, the WTA has donated tickets to the Finals at Dickies Arena to the Fort Worth Tennis Association (FWTA). In partnership with the FWTA, approximately 150 tennis players from AH, NS, ODW, P, SH and TT will have the opportunity to attend the finals next Thursday (11/3).

Congrats to Elder Football as both teams finished the season on a winning note!
The 7th grade dominated Daggett 40-0 in their final game of the year while the 8th grade cruised to a 27-6 win over Morningside. Great job to both teams and we are proud of you!

Members of the drumline, cheerleaders, dance, volleyball, and football teams participated in the 9th Annual Hazel Harvey Peace Elementary Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Pep Rally.
