Creston Middle School Annual Fall Fundraiser
The CMS school-wide fundraiser began yesterday and students should have come home with a packet of information that they received from our annual fundraiser kick off. This year we will again be selling the Eastside Discount key tags (see example in picture above) for $10 each. We are asking every student to sell at least 2 items to help us reach our goal of $5,000. Funds raised will go back directly towards supporting student activities, PBIS incentives, school equipment, honor roll trips, etc. Every student that sells 2 items will be eligible to attend a “Fundraiser Reward Dance/Open Gym”. Anyone who sells 5 items or more gets to visit the V.I.P. area during the dance to receive unlimited refreshments and goodies. All orders and money are due on Thursday, August 30th to 1st period teachers. Orders will be distributed on October 2nd during Student Led Conferences. More info can be found in the parent letter link below.

We do understand that there are situations that arise where an absence can't be prevented. Please help communicate those reasons to the school by calling the main line at 532-6800 between 6:00-7:00 a.m. to report the absence.
Excused Absences Include:
1. Personal illness or injury (please drop off physician's notes to front desk)
2. Death in the immediate family
3. Attendance at a family funeral
4. Religious observances required by church officials
5. Serving as a page in the legislature
6. Court appearance/court detention
7. Working at polls
Thank you for your help in setting up your child for success by making sure they get to school each and every day.
