Boeckman Bulletin
April 22, 2021
Note from the Principal
We have been enjoying the beautiful weather, and taking full advantage of our outdoor spaces. We are so fortunate our school is nestled in such a lovely setting, where children can experience the glory of nature!
It is hard to believe that we are starting to plan for the 2021 - 2022 school year. If you know of a child that will be attending Boeckman Creek next school year will you reach out and encourage the family to register, all they need to do is call our office and we can answer questions and help with registration. The more accurate our registration numbers are the better we can prepare for the coming school year.
We have several school events planned for the next few months, and would like to encourage you to pay special attention to the calendar that is sent out with this newsletter!
Here's to finishing the year with joy and strength!

- Understand and feel good about themselves
- Expand the world they live in
- Communicate with others in many ways
- Do things independently and learn to work with others
- Develop good work habits and attitudes
- Listen and follow directions
- Develop muscles, senses, and coordination
- Handle their feelings as well as the feelings of others
- Develop literacy skills and number concepts
Learn more by visiting the district website!
Enjoy some of the art decorating our halls from Mrs. Bruce's kindergarten class!

COVID-19 Testing in WLWV Schools
In the coming weeks, West Linn-Wilsonville schools will begin offering COVID-19 rapid testing in extra care rooms. Rapid Testing for COVID-19 will only take place if a student is exhibiting symptoms and only with parent-guardian permission. If it is recommended a student take a rapid COVID-19 test at school, a parent-guardian will be contacted to discuss important details and gain permission. A consent form will need to be signed when the parent-guardian comes to pick up the student. Testing will be conducted by trained district nurses or health assistants. Student/family privacy will be prioritized during the testing process.
