Important Information on Upcoming Events
Family Prom
Saturday, April 29th
The PTO invites you to the Fernway Family Prom. The event is from 5:00 to 8:00 on Saturday, April 29th at Andrew High School. There will be music, raffles, food, and fun. It will be a night to remember. Registration forms for the Family Prom are due by April 20th.
Muffins With Your Misses
Monday, May 8th
Bring your Mom or Miss to have breakfast with you in Fernway Commons. Breakfast includes your choice of muffin and coffee or juice. Mom/Miss are requested to enter and leave through the front entrance of school. Please turn in ONE order form per family along with cash or check made out to Fernway PTO. Order forms are due by April 20th.
Penny War's Ice Cream Party
April 27th
We had a very successful fundraiser called PENNY WARS this year. We raised $3,672.38 to purchase indoor and outdoor recess equipment. Our Fernway Staff was our top winner this year. They have asked to donate their ice cream party to the entire school. The PTO will PROVIDE FREE ICE CREAM to all students and staff on April 27th. Each student must have a signed permission slip to receive ice cream (no exceptions). Permission Slips are due by April 20th.
Field Day T-Shirts
Field Day shirts will be made on May 17th.
This year PTO thought it would be fun to wear custom shirts at Field Day. Each shirt will have the same Falcon design, but will be tie-dyed a certain color depending on the grade level. PTO will provide EACH FERNWAY STUDENT with a FREE T-Shirt. The arts and crafts store, ALL TYED UP, from Crete, IL will come to Fernway on Wednesday, May 17th to help create some bright and colorful shirts. Please complete the bottom part of this form for your student. If you have multiple students here, please fill out a form for each one.
