Summer School Surveys
Please take a moment prior to the end of summer school to complete the staff survey regarding our summer program this year. You can find the staff summer school survey here.
Additionally, 3rd-5th Graders need to complete a student survey. Please have your students complete the student survey during the final week of summer school. Click here for directions that you can display to make administering the survey quick and painless. When your class has taken the survey, please send me an email letting me know that it is complete!

The library schedule will remain in effect for the week. Classes scheduled into the library on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday may come for reading time. Teachers are also encouraged to plan for read-alouds as they choose.

Red, White, and Blue Celebration
Make sure you see the sign up HERE!
Additionally, Our Kindergarten and First Graders will be putting on a Fourth of July Parade for our students! Please have all 2nd-5th grade students sit along the walls in the hallway beginning at 3:10pm on Wednesday, July 3rd. You will hear patriotic music playing over the speakers and will get to watch our youngest students parade through the 2/3 pod and the 4/5 pod just before dismissal!
We are needing your help in explaining the expectations of your student’s participation/observation of the parade.
- 1) Please have your students sitting side by side along the walls of the pods.
- 2) Please have your students stay on their pockets. Do not lunge for candy.
- 3) Please do not shout at the kindergarteners and 1st graders.
- 4) One sucker per student. If they didn’t receive one during the parade, they will get one from their teacher. You will be given extra suckers for this reason.
- 5) Wave, sing, and say “hi” to our new Timberwolves.
- 6) Be the role model.
- 7) Have FUN!!
Chair Stacking
Students should not stack chairs, custodians will either clean around them or they will stack them for the students.
Thanks for helping keep our walls dent-free!
Sonic Drinks
We will have Sonice drinks for ALL Summer School staff members this Wednesday, July 3. Please be sure to put your order in HERE.

Repeat: Zen Zone Updates
- From now on, please use a Zen Zone Pass when sending a student to the Zen Zone. I have copied some of these and placed a few in each mailbox. I have also shared the link with you, please feel free to make additional copies as needed.
- For your information (no need to share with students), we will have some new Zen Zone Expectations that we are using as well. The goal is for students to know what to expect when coming to the Zen Zone, and to minimize time out of the classroom.
- Please see Ms. Andes or Mrs. Martinez with any questions!
Repeat: Substitute Protocol
One addition to the approved substitute list is Rachel Evans who has taught 4th and 5th grade here at Tiffany Ridge. Please note that she would be a great substitute to use!
If you are going to be gone, please also let Megan know with a quick text or email.
