The Parent Portal helps parents stay involved in their student's academic life and allows for better communication between parents and teachers. Parent Portal has up to date information on grades, assignments, attendance and more. It's easy to sign up for an account. https://www.pusd.us/parentportal. Parent Portal accounts require password resets every 12 months. If you reset your password more than a year ago, you will need to reset your password the next time you log in. Please view the document for Resetting Parent/Student Passwords for help.
PAPER Tutoring: Paper partners with Pasadena Unified School District to provide unlimited access to trained tutors so every student can ask questions, work through problems, and grow their confidence. Services are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Please ask your child's teacher how you may access Paper Tutoring.
September is Hispanic Heritage month! 3 ways to celebrate Hispanic Heritage as a family, click HERE. Join the City of Pasadena Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Latino Heritage Committee for Pasadena’s 24th annual Latino Heritage Celebrations, including the much-anticipated parade and festival on Saturday, Oct. 1. Families in Transition: If you know of a family experiencing homelessness, doesn't have a regular and adequate nighttime residence, lives in a hotel or motel, lives in an emergency or transitional shelter, etc. Please refer them or contact Families in Transition for transportation assistance, clothing, backpacks, school supplies, assistance in school enrollment, resources and more. September is National Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month: Suicide is a public health concern that effects people of any age, race, sex, and class. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 immediately. If you are uncomfortable talking on the phone, you can chat the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988lifeline.org. For mental health resources, please call LACDMH’s Helpline, available 24/7 to provide mental health support, resources and referrals at (800) 854-7771.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
PUSD's Volunteer Program is currently under Covid-19 processing protocols.
Although masks are not required, but still strongly recommended in many cases.
In order to keep our students and staff healthy and limit the risk of exposure to COVID-19 among all individuals on campus, visitors and volunteers are required to do the following:
Be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test result within the past 48 hours
Conduct a symptom screening to ensure the individual is not experiencing any COVID-19-like symptoms
Wear a mask indoors at all times and it is strongly recommended to wear a mask outdoors
