$100.00 for Teachers!
It is with great news that through reorganization savings, the District has been able to identify one-time monies to provide you for classroom supplies.
All certificated (non-management) employees will be receiving $100 each for classroom supplies through an online order from either Amazon or Office Depot. The $100 must be spent at either or, and cannot be split.
The $100 must be spent by April 30, 2019.
Office Managers have received information on how to process your request so please reach out to them for next steps.
Digital Citizenship
Remember the Digital Citizenship lessons that we need to teach at each grade level? I have added them to the handbook. You can also find them at the Common Sense Media website if you want to see the additional resources they have. Each lesson has a student activity, family tip sheet, and student assessment if you visit the web page. Some lessons even have videos.

Halloween Update
Halloween at School
The happy medium is costumes and pajamas. Now that we have found away to include all students I am more comfortable with the costumes at school idea. The plan is as follows:-students will be invited to wear pajamas or costumes to school on October 31
-they can wear them all day
-no blood or scary masks
-parade will happen at upper grade lunch (i need help organizing)
Fall Festival Dance or Carnival
The ELAC voted and decided to try a dance instead of the carnival. The dance will be held on Friday, October 26. We will sell food, a few games, DJ and face painting. Costumes are optional. More on this later.
