Street Names: Speed, Meth, Chalk, Ice, Crystal, Crystal Meth, Glass, etc


How is it taken? Can be taken orally, snorted through nose, injected, or smoked.


How does it look like? Can be either White or Yellow crystalline power, sometimes a large rock. It is odorless and people claim it has a bitter taste.


Short-term effects : Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, confusion, increased wakefulness, anxiety, tremors, stroke, etc


Long term effects: Violent behavior, extreme paranoia, hallucinations, obsessive starching, irregular heartbeat, seizures, heart attacks, and death

The abuse of meth was initially limited to Hawaii and western parts if the U.S. but after the release of the T.V. of Breaking Bad in 2008, Authorities have said that Meth has been rapidly increase all over the U.S. and world wide simple because of people's curiosity.


The average meth high last 4-12 hours causing people to continue using it and overdosing.


Meth users who inject the drug expose themselves to additional risks such as contrasting HIV, Infections, etc.
