Crawford's Corner... A Message from the Principal

Just this Friday, after throwing out the first pitch at a softball game, I glanced around me, taking in the packed stands. I was humbled by the outpouring of support from students, teachers, parents, and family members - all there to cheer the Cougars on to victory. It is because of YOU ALL, that I love this school so much. I can hardly believe these three months have gone by so quickly, but each day, I am inspired by the wonderful interactions between students and teachers, the learning evident in the classroom.

Now, as we move into the homestretch - STAAR Testing, AP Testing, College Entrance Exams, Final Exams - we need to make sure that each student is here at school doing their best each day. It is because of your hard work that we will continue to be, Always Victorious!I

2017 Texas Loft STEM Leadership Symposium

Michael Hidalgo, Graduation Coach and Ronald Reed, Parent Support Specialist, attended the LOFT STEM Leadership Symposium on March 07, 2017, with 17 ELL students from Crockett High School. The Symposium was held at The University of Texas in the Texas Union Building. The program was an enjoyable experience for everyone representing Crockett H.S. Our students participated in a very interactive way with all the Symposium People, currently in high level Leadership Roles in several industries, the U.S. Army, including College Army ROTC. Everyone had the opportunity to directly interact with the presenters and participate in a STEM Panel Presentation that addressed real life applications of education in all STEM course areas. Our ELL students represented themselves and our school with exceptional insight, as well as listening and learning from some of the top people who shared their experiences in how to use networking and interactive engagement in all areas.

It was an exceptional day and we represented our school with Cougar Pride!
