From The Principal's Desk
Dear Parents
Hard to believe as it may be, here we are in the final week of Term. As ever, there have been numerous highlights and examples of positive learning experiences for the children. Top of the list for many has to be the outstanding Junior Production, with so many bright, talented young performers coming together to make it such a joy to watch. Huge congratulations to all for a resoundingly successful show!
For this final newsletter before the break, I'd simply like to pass on my thanks to the teachers and support staff for a successful term's learning and for the hard work and dedication that forms such a solid foundation for our learning community. Just like the students themselves, the TPS staff continue to celebrate successes, meet goals and rise to new challenges in so many ways.
Thanks also to the many parents who have got involved this term, helped out in so many ways and supported their child's learning at home.
Last - but by no means least - well done to all of the students themselves, who never fail to impress and amaze us all with their developing talents, abilities and consistently positive attitudes.
All the best for a safe and happy break over the holidays to all of our families, and we look forward to welcoming you back for Term 4.
Ka kite anō au i a koutou

TITIRANGI TOUCH SEASON
Titirangi Primary School – Touch Rugby Season 2014 /2015
Calling all Touch Rugby players to play for Titirangi Primary school teams for the new 2014 / 2015 season.
Games this year will be played on Wednesday nghts from 3.45pm at Shadbolt Park, the Suburbs Rugby Club, Portage Road.
Registration forms have gone home last week – spares are available from the school office.
Starts in Term 4, 29th October -10th December (6 games, no game 5th November).
Then the same competition will continue in Term 1 2015, 11th Feb -18th March (6 games).
Teams will include Mixed teams, Boys teams and Girls teams (depending on the level of interest) in the different age groups of players: Years 1 & 2 combined/ Years 3 & 4 combined / Years 5 & 6 combined. Teams are allocated in Term 4 and stay as the same teams in Term 1 2015. All children are welcome to play – from first timers wanting to give it a go to our experienced players who can’t wait to get back on to the field!
Please note: As with all sporting codes at this level we require the support of family members who are interested in Coaching or Team Manager roles to ensure each team can take part in the competition so please start thinking about whether you have some extra capacity to help out? All teams need a Coach and Manager to be registered and Years 1 - 4 have a Coach on the field with them.

I have been selected as one of the Kiwi team of 12 runners to run in the London Marathon to raise both profile and funds for Starship. I need your help...
