Next week students will be doing the Legend of Sleepy Hollow close read. Close reading is when students read a text multiple times digging deeper into the text each read. This particular version is a drama or play and we will use this opportunity to discuss the parts of a drama as well as review our previous reading objectives. If you would like to see the work your child is doing for ELA on this or any objective, ask him or her to show you their Google Classroom or the Data Binder. Both places will give you an idea of what work your child is doing in the ELA class.
