Note from the Principal
Welcome to a new school year! The kids are all settling in nicely with their new classmates and teachers. The rooms are looking great and we are ready to learn! As you may remember, we have been preparing for our NAEYC accreditation visit. This visit is coming up very soon and should be happening in the next several weeks. We are excited to show off our wonderful school and teachers. We will keep you informed as we finish up the final phase of the accreditation process.
We are all looking forward to a fun and educational Fall season. Please remember, if you ever have any questions or concerns please be sure to stop by the office. My door is always open.

General Reminders
Change of Clothes - The weather is getting cooler. Be sure your child's spare clothes are weather appropriate and are of the proper size.
Footwear - Please be sure that your child is wearing appropriate footwear for play. They should wear sneakers or similar well fitting closed toed shoes. Crocs, flip flops, slick soled shoes and rain boots can be dangerous on playground equipment.
Folders/cubbies - Be sure to check your child's folder and cubbie daily for any items that may need to be taken home.
Sunscreen - We will be sending home all sunscreen from the summer on Friday.
Water Bottles - The weather is cooling off and many children do not use their water bottles. We will continue to bring the water bottles outside for the next few weeks. When the cooler weather comes we will be leaving them inside in the cubbies.
Infant Room
Please also remember to remove your shoes before entering the Infant Room. If you have hard to remove shoes we will have shoe covers available outside of the Infant room for your use.
