BRAG-Board Behavior with Spirit, Pride & Honor @ RJ Richey

Bulldog Brag-Boards

For this 3rd Six-Weeks, we are promoting making great choices with our Bulldogs for high-quality work and behavior!

Each of our classrooms has a class BRAGboard where students will get to sign their name when they get caught making great choices, demonstrating hard-work ethic, kindness with others, and for modeling Spirit, Pride, and Honor!

Each week, we will share the classrooms that have filled up their bragboards and added their class name to our campus brag board, allowing us to get one step closer to a school-wide reward!

Please encourage your child to show their Spirit, Pride, and Honor with great choices at school with both their behavior and their work! We LOVE celebrating them! Talk to your student about how often they get to sign the brag board in class and the reason behind their big BRAGS!

CONGRATULATIONS this week to these classes filling up their class Brag-Boards:

3rd grade: Beckner, Bell, Garcia, Yantos, Detwiler, Bryce

4th grade: Van Klavern & Foley

Our Bulldogs are Going for the Green!

Our 4th graders are in second place with over 430K facts fluent!

and our 3rd graders are in getting close to catching our 4th graders with 380K facts solved!

Keep flexing that math fact fluency Bulldogs!

RJR Focus on Growing Readers:

Waves of Pages Program @ RJ Richey

Don't forget to Read, Read, and Read over the Thanksgiving Break!

We are excited to focus on building a culture of a LOVE for reading at RJ with our Bulldogs!

RJ has partnered with Schlitterbahn for their Waves of Pages program to help reward our readers!

Please help encourage your child to work on building their reading stamina and choosing books that ignite a passion for reading for pleasure and enjoyment!

Read more below about how our students AND your family can earn FREE admission to a Waterpark by reading, reading, and reading!

RJ Attendance Office & Information

Submitting an Absence Note?

There are 2 easy ways to provide documentation for your child's absence IF they need to be away from school at anytime:

  • You can send your child with an absence note to turn-into the front office. There is an "absence note" box where all students can place their absence letters or doctor's notes.
  • You can also scan in doctor's notes and/or send parent communication regarding your child's absences to our attendance registrar @ csarubbi@burnetcisd.net

Student Badges on Backpacks

Please help your child keep his/her school issued student badge attached to the backpack, and that the backpack comes to school every day. Badges are used during breakfast for meals. They also help with campus safety.

Students who do not have their badge with them at breakfast have less time to enjoy their meal each day due to the delay it causes to type in numbers as they go through the breakfast line. Please help you child have their badge each day.
