Happy Friday Santanas! Thank you for checking in to stay up on all that is happening at Santiago.
- This week we are back to a regular schedule.
- Thanksgiving Break begins 11/22. Students will return on 11/29 for instruction.
- We have so many clubs meeting each day during lunch! Please remind students to check the Atrium Showcase Board outside the library to see when they should attend the meetings for the clubs they have joined!
- Please note that students are expected to follow the dress codes and keep phones at home. Violations of these expectations will result in consequences. Please see guidelines here if you are still unsure.
- When picking up students during the school day, please remember to bring your ID with you. Office staff must check ID with our records before students will be released.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SANTANA STARS !
The following Santanas were nominated by staff, and awarded with our "Santana of the Week" award.
Congratulations... Marcus G! Mr. Lucett nominated Marcus because he is always respectful and actively engaged, accountable for quality work, and determined to be successful through participation.
Congratulations... Ava C! Mrs. Derring said this about Ava. "Mrs Hurdle and Mrs Maude have both mentioned to me what a helpful and good student she is. I saw her being kind to Kathy Walker's one on one student Sophia A, and engaging her in conversation. Ava is a sweet person who strives to be show kindness and is genuinely interested in helping where she can. She has been willing to help out in the library when it was not required of her. She impressed me as being a responsible young lady, caring of others, and a good example to other students."
This student was nominated by a teacher, and was awarded the "Santana of the Month"
Congratulations... Josie A! Mrs. Yan nominated Josie because, she is responsible, has a strong work ethic, but most of all, often provides help for classmates and lab group.
