We will be finishing our plant unit this week. Our test will be Friday.

THANK YOU so much to all the parents who were able to come to the parent meeting on Thursday! It was so nice talking with you. I'm excited for this school year. I have a great bunch of kiddos!

Also, thank you for your patience with Scholastic's website. It was down most of the week, and I had no idea that was going to happen. I'm placing the book orders after school today so there is still time to order. I know some of you ordered online this weekend.

Remember....Math and Reading homework is due this Friday. Your child can write their reading responses on a loose leaf paper. Don't worry about the notebook. They have a Response Journal, but I don't want them to take it home. I'm afraid some won't come back and we use them in class. Since all 3rd grade is doing the same homework, we had to list the notebook for those teachers wanting to use them.

Riddle of the Week

Most trains run on me,

The answer's not time;

And I rhyme with sacks,

Can you guess what I'm?

What am I?

If you child tells me the correct answer to the riddle they will get a small reward!
