A reminder that there will be no intervention in the last quarter of flex this quarter.
Flex classes will be the following for the fourth quarter: March 27 & 29; April 17, 19, 24, 26; May 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, & 17. Please be aware of that when planning for the fourth quarter flex time class.

iTech Parent Academy
The Norman Public School District will host an iTech Parent Academy to provide information to parents about the student technology initiative. As we develop the agenda, we would like to hear from parents. Please respond to this brief survey and mark your calendar for Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. We will meet at the Administrative Services Center located at 131 S. Flood.

iTech Summer Conference Proposals
Your help is needed with the iTech Summer Conference that will take place on Monday and Tuesday, June 4 & 5, 2018 on the NHS campus.
We are looking for presenters. Please encourage educators who you see using technology in innovative ways (or you) to submit proposals by forwarding those educators the information below:
Consider submitting a proposal to present at the iTech Summer Conference that will take place on Monday and Tuesday, June 4 & 5, 2018 on the NHS campus.
This conference will focus on best practice in instructional technology. Areas of emphasis will include:
- Personalized Learning
- Guided Inquiry
- Blended Learning
- Google Products
- Teaching in the 1:1 Classroom
- Teaching with More Devices in the Elementary Classroom
- And other area
Sessions may be presented individually or with co-presenters. Sessions can be 1 hour 15 minutes, 2 hours and 30 minutes, or 5 hours in length.
Proposals are due by March 16, 2018. These proposal form can be found here. Presenters will be notified by April 12th.

State Testing Information
The Office of Assessments is pleased to provide revised Test & Items Specifications for all Grades 3-8 ELA/Math/Science assessments, included in the revisions are additional sample test items for all Grades 3-8 assessments.
Get it Module #4- Must be finished by March 29th!
Use your district USERNAME and PASSWORD to login into MOODLE. Use the ENROLLMENT KEY listed below for the course you are interested in. Your progress is saved as you go through each Moodle course, so you can log out and then return at any time. However, you cannot exit a quiz in the middle and return to that same quiz session. (Make sure you are enrolled in the technology courses)
FLIPPED LEARNING MINICOURSE SD Points: 2.0 This minicourse will provide an overview of flipped learning for elementary and secondary classrooms. Tips and tricks for successful implementation are included. ENROLLMENT KEY- GetIT
Once you have finished the course, print your certificate and sign the pink sheet with Jennifer Tupper.
