Note from the Transportation Department:
As the District approaches the end of September, the Transportation Department would like to thank everyone for their support and patience as bus drivers familiarize themselves with the new routes and heavier and longer bus loads for this school year. As we near the end of September, your bus driver's daily arrival and drop-off should be consistent, within five minutes. For parents looking in Infofinder, if you find actual pick-up and drop-off times are different than those posted in Infofinder, the actual times the bus arrives at your home are your most accurate guidance. (The times in Infofinder are calculated and may vary from actual times based on ridership, weather, and other factors.)
2022-23 School Calendars
You should have received a printed copy of the 2022-23 school calendar, which was sent home with your youngest child on the first day of school. If you did not receive a calendar, please contact the main office of your youngest child's school building and request a copy.
Free and Reduced Lunch Application
Did you know that your family might qualify for the free and reduced meals even if you haven't in the past? The income eligibility guidelines have expanded. Please take a look to see if you qualify.
Children need healthy meals to learn. The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District offers healthy meals every school day. For the 2022-23 school year, breakfast costs $1.80 and lunch costs $3.05.
Your family may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. Fill out the application below to see if your family qualifies. The application as well as the instructions for the application can also be found on the Food Services website at https://www.schoolnutritionand... as well as in the District calendar which is sent home on the first day of school with the youngest in the household.

Mendon Public Library Ongoing Programs:
- Story Time at the Gazebo Tuesdays, 10 - 10:30 am
- Preschool Story Time at the Gazebo open to preschoolers and their caregivers. Join Miss Kelly for songs, stories, and simple crafts each Tuesday (dress for the weather).
- Paws to Relax Tuesdays, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm
- Tech Training Wednesdays, 3:00 - 6:00 pm
- LEGO Club @ Rotary Park Thursdays, September 15 - October 13, 4:30-5:30 pm
- Firefly Friends at Mendon Public Library, "Your Light is Bright", Four Wednesdays, 9/21-10/12, 10 am - 10:25 am. Children Ages 2-5 with Parent or Caregiver (Siblings welcome): Firefly Friends is geared towards helping little ones to shine bright lights. Classes to be led by Jennifer DeVille Catalano. Classes are limited to 10 children. Please call to register for all four classes in Block 1, 624-6067. Will be held in the library.

Youth Outdoor Adventure Weekend! Sponsored by Scouts BSA Pack 10, Troop 10, and Troop 410. Join us Saturday September 17th @ 9 AM at the Rotary Park in HF for an outdoor day of fun featuring games, outdoor skill, model rockets, a campfire, and more! Boy/Girls of ALL ages are welcome to attend. Feeling extra adventurous? Bring a tent or borrow one from us and stay the night!
