Our Learning Targets...
Reading - I can use a Venn diagram to compare and contrast characters and story events.
Writing - I can use strong details to support my main idea in expository writing. I can use adjectives to compare and understand how adverbs are used.
Social Studies - I can understand the colonization of Texas by discussing the establishment of Spanish missions in Texas.
Math – I can add multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm. I can round numbers to a given place value.
Science - I can collect, organize, and interpret data.

Leader in Me
This week our Leader In Me lesson will focus on two vocabulary words, principles and paradigm. We will use our LISD 10 ethical principles to guide our discussion, here is a link to this document:
We will discuss that a paradigm is the way you see the world. Paradigms are like glasses: if you're wearing the wrong ones, it will affect everything you see. Things may look different if you try on a new pair of glasses.
