Food Club News
QUICK! Which way do you scoop soup into your spoon when you’re eating it?!? This group knows. A huge THANK YOU to Cuccia’s for hosting the Portola High School Food Club on Tuesday. They learned about etiquette and dining out. From calling to make reservations to “paying” and calculating a tip/signing a credit card slip at the end (and everything in between), these teens learned the basics of dining WHILE dining so they are ready to meet a potential employer over a meal in a business setting, or enjoy a great evening out with friends or on a date. You won’t catch these kids biting into their bread, scooping soup towards them or having their phones out during dinner! Thank you, Gina Cuccia and staff, for your generosity and opening your restaurant up to us, and thank you to Mrs. Sheridan for your support of our club this year. Until next year, keep your elbows off the table, and happy eating! Club Adviser Klytia Dutton
