Zaxby's Night for First Baptist Academy
Tonight, Oct. 13th at Zaxby's on the Bypass - Come out and support First Baptist Academy! A portion of the proceeds from tonight sales (between 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.) will go directly to the school. Be sure to tell them you are with FBA.
THE CHURCH PICNIC WAS POSTPONED THE NEW DATE IS NOVEMBER 1st at 3:00 p.m.
Quilts of Valor
All veterans that entered the service prior to 1969 will be honored the Sunday before Veteran’s Day. Please contact Ardis Young at 770-786-4107 or Bertie Ann Hardy at 770-786-2602 with branch of service, dates of service and which church service you attend.
Fall Break
There will be NO youth or children's activities on Wednesday, October 21st due to Fall Break. The 6:00 p.m. service in the fellowship hall will take place as usual.
Pastor Appreciation Month
October is Pastor Appreciation Month - Please join the pastors and their families for homemade cookies and cupcakes in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25th. We also invite you to express your appreciation by writing cards or notes, writing prayer grams, baking homemade cookies and/or cupcakes for the special service on October 25th. Their are berry colored buckets located around the campus to drop cards and notes in.
Youth Prayer Breakfast
Each Tuesday morning at 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. Transportation to the middle and high schools is provided.
High School Ski Trip
Registration is now open online! December 30 - January 2, Winter Place, WV. Cost is $240 per student with a $50 deposit due at time of registration. Space is limited to 30 students. Register online at www.firstbaptistcovington.com.
Men's Bible Study
Wednesday Mornings - This Systematic Theology study meets at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday mornings in Room 202 of the Fellowship Hall Building and is led by Pastor Cody. Books are available in the church office or at class for $10.
Ladies Christmas Gala
December 8th at 6:00 p.m.- The guest speaker this year will be Amber Foster with the Newton Pregnancy Resource Center. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased by contacting Joan Castellana at 770-787-9193 or by email at jwcastellana@yahoo.com.

Reverse Trick or Treat-North Campus
Saturday, October 31st at 10:00 a.m. - at the future home of the North Campus, 1242 Mt Zion Rd., Oxford. We will be giving candy out and inviting people to join us for worship at the North Campus. Contact Pastor Josh if you have any questions. 770-786-9031 or jcornett@firstbaptistcovington.com
