Howdy Lobos!
PSA is excited to introduce our K-8 Math Specialist, Ms. Suzanne Harlow. Ms. Harlow is an integral part of our Academic Support Team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area of curriculum and instruction. This is Ms. Harlow’s 32nd year in the education profession, all in Little Elm ISD. Ms. Harlow started her teaching career at Little Elm K-8 school which is also known as the Old King building. In 1996, Ms. Harlow moved to Little Elm Primary (Pre-K - 1) to assist with the opening, which later became Zellars Elementary. When Zellars closed in 2013, Ms. Harlow transitioned to Prestwick STEM Academy as the K-8 Math Specialist.
Ms. Harlow was born, raised, and later returned to her hometown of Anna, Texas where she currently lives today. She attended Baylor University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education. Ms. Harlow has always had passion for Math, “I enjoy helping students who either enjoy or struggle with Math. It is my goal each year to help students who struggle have a positive experience and hopefully not hate it as much.”
In Ms. Harlow’s free time, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, and watching movies. Every Sunday, Ms. Harlow and her two older brothers gather together at their parent’s house for Sunday lunch. Additionally, Ms. Harlow has two nephews and two nieces that she LOVES to spoil.

Prestwick LEarns - STEM does include Art!
A common misconception is that we don't have an Art classroom. Not True! This year the 2-8 learners have adapted well to her art studio located in the learning cottages. Our youngest learners in K/1 share a lab space for access to restrooms and shorter distance to travel. The learning cottage space has proven to support the creativity for all!
This year, Prestwick STEM Academy is increasing school and community Lobo pride!
Prestwick STEM Academy Band and Lakeside Band joined forces to perform at a 7th and 8th grade Lobo Football Game.
The Lobo Band did a great job entertaining the crowd and supporting the Lobo Cheer Squad by performing "Happy" during their halftime show.
The Lobo Band students also participated in a color run fundraiser this past Friday. Parents, community volunteers, LE staff, and high school students all came together in support of Prestwick, Powell, and Lakeside Middle School Band programs.
We've Got Spirit, How About You?!?
Prestwick STEM Academy has formed a pep squad this year called Pride Pack, Jr!
With support from the Little Elm Athletic Booster Organization and Lakeside MS Cheer Coach, Deborah Kirby,
Pride Pack, Jr. helps to increase crowd participation during athletic games under the leadership of Mrs. Hernandez (Prestwick's Band Director) and Ms. Schafer (Prestwick's Physical Education Teacher).
Pride Pack, Jr. will also be participating in Prestwick's first ever pep rally coming up during Homecoming week!
