We highly encourage that you submit your Free and Reduced Lunch Application AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you received meal benefits in the past, you must re-apply each year.

If you already applied this school year for benefits, you will not have to re-apply.

To expedite this process, please apply on line at or you can request a free/reduced meal application in our Main Office.

If your family qualifies, here are some potential benefits:

  • Free lunch (or reduced price) for your child.

  • Free and Reduced numbers help schools receive Title I state and national financial support.

  • Reduced rates with Comcast for internet and computer purchases.

  • Blessings in a Backpack participation.

  • Possible support through the holidays.

Our goal is to reach all and provide a healthy lunch at either a reduced rate or free.

Students who receive free or reduced meals are held in strictest confidence. Staff and other students are not made aware of any student who receives a free meal. Students DO NOT need to provide this information when receiving a lunch, all students (free or not) receive their meal in the same way.

Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack-Clarkston is a “neighbor-helping-neighbor” program that is designed to help bridge the gap of the nutritional needs of children from Clarkston Community Schools. Each week, we distribute backpacks filled with enough non-perishable food for the weekend to students that qualify on the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program. The goal of Blessings in a Backpack is to keep these students from going hungry on the weekends and remove barriers to academic success.

In order to receive Blessings in a Backpack, families must select that option during the Free and Reduced Lunch Application. If you need assistance getting signed-up for Blessings in a Backpack, please contact Mr. Adams.
