iSchool Initiative Program
WISD is partnering with iSchool Initiative next school year to form a student leader/advocacy group that will help reinvent technology in our district. Our current 9th graders have the opportunity to become a part of this group and facilitate ongoing technology initiatives while learning important STEM, leadership, and collaboration skills. There will be approx. 10 ninth graders chosen to represent this group at WHS next year. These students should be responsible, creative, self driven, have a passion for technology, and willing to be challenged. We also encourage students to join who want to develop these skills or students who may be currently struggling with school but need that place to fit in and work toward a common goal.
