WGMS Library Media Center
October 2014 Report
Curriculum Impact with Mrs. Gabrysch, Mrs. Sheridan, Mrs. Cooper, Mr. Pettijohn
The 6th grade ELA Classes all worked in the PicCollage App in the iPads to complete a genre project based on elements from their book. They found pictures which described the character, setting time, setting place, and a cover for their book. Their projects were then uploaded to a Padlet for displaying to the class and their parents from homework online. Check their awesome projects out here!
We also had a fun Texas symbol contest in the library using the Apple TVs between Mrs. Gabrysch and Mr. Fontenot's classes. Classes used creative ways of displaying the Texas symbols using several tools in PicCollage. Mrs. Gabrysch's class was the winner of the Golden Boot! View her project Padlet here and see the Flying Jalepeno winner below.
